George Stark must really regret even bothering to comment on Hilaria Baldwin, don’t you think? In case you haven’t seen the story running as a headline on all of this morning’s news programs, I’ll get you caught up. Stark is a Daily Mail reporter that claimed that Alec Baldwin’s wife was tweeting during James Gandolfini’s funeral yesterday. Now, if you actually use Twitter then you already understand that what Hilaria did was to ReTweet something said by another. That person actually tweeted the sentiment during the time of the funeral, not Hilaria. Nevertheless, Hilaria should not have been using her electronic toys during a funeral – a funeral is a time to go silent.
But you know the drill, give Alec Baldwin a reason to completely lose his shit and he always delivers. The crazed star went off on a Twitter rant spanning several tweets before finally realizing he should just shut the whole thing down- but not before Gawker caught the whole thing and screen capped it.
Let me just give you the highlights:

Let’s just go back about 24 hours shall we, when all the talk was on Paula Deen and her racial and gay slurs. Her story kind of shifts here and there and within a few days she has likely lost $10 million bucks in profits. Why? Because as a general rule if you’re in the public eye none of this is acceptable. Paula cried crocodile tears and apologized. That’s something Alec will never do, but will he be held to the same standard?
Alec is one of those guys that is expected to blow up and it’s perhaps not encouraged, but it also doesn’t cost him anything. Why is that? This guy means every derogatory thing he says and is proud of it. In a week where appropriate speech has weighed so heavily in Hollywood, will Alec’s calling Star a “toxic little queen” matter? It should, shouldn’t it? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
