On tonight’s show the top 8 finalists compete for America’s vote on a Detroit: The Music of Motor City themed performance show. If you missed the show we watched it and we recapped it here for you!
Judges comments: Randy: “Angie, this was a strange one for me. I don’t know if there was something going on in your ears, but it was the first time every I saw you have a pitchy performance. It was strange for me.” Mariah: “You look fantastic, very sexy. It must have been incredible to sit with Smokey. I would have rather heard you at the piano. This is not necessarily what you do best” Keith: “I hear what Randy said about the pitch. The melody kept pulling you down, that is what I felt. Your talent is undeniable.” Nicki: “I don’t think this has anything to do with your talent. You came out trying to show another side of Angie, that you did not have to do.”
