Did anyone really believe that the divorce between Bethenny Frankel and Jason Hoppy would really be amicable? There’s just way too much at stake here to think for one minute that this former couple was going to easily resolve their relationship. Upon filing for divorce Bethenny also requested primary custody of their two year old daughter, Bryn as well as permission to continue residing in their marital home. Jason sat with the filing for a few weeks before responding, basically requesting exactly the same things.
He wants primary custody of the baby as well as the home he shared with Bethenny. Here’s the interesting thing though. In NY the person residing at the residence has a better chance of maintaining it in court so as of now both Bethenny and Jason are digging in their heels and staying put. Can you imagine living with your ex that you all but hate? Supposedly these two aren’t even speaking other than things related to Bryn and they take turns coming and going.
According to the new issue of In Touch Bethenny feels like a prisoner in her home and as the main breadwinner, she’s furious. She believes Jason should be happy to take what he can get from her and then go away and rebuild his own life elsewhere. He on the other hand, feels like she owes him. Especially since her career is a huge part of what drove them apart in the first place!
