While on the reality show Big Brother 15, GinaMarie Zimmerman and Nick Uhas shared an undeniable bond; a bond that GinaMarie had hoped would continue once the camera’s stopped rolling. Unfortunately for her it seems she has learned the hard way that a showmance rarely transpires into a real life romance.
Just hours after GinaMarie tweeted that she couldn’t wait to see and hug Nick, she tweeted a link to the YouTube video of the song and lyrics to, “It Must Have Been Love,” by the duo Roxette – a song about love and loss. When asked by a fellow Twitter user if this tweet meant what they thought it meant, GinaMarie responded with a crying sad face – “:*(((“.
As of late GinaMarie has been outwardly supportive of Nick, and was very clear about how she felt towards him; what was less clear was how he felt towards her. It seems that she found that sometimes you go so far out on a limb for someone that you don’t even realize you are out there by yourself – until you do – because she tweeted, “I’m done competing … I’m not in the big brother house [anymore].” She further revealed the heartbreak she is feeling with this tweet:
GinaMarie tweets were met with a lot of fan support and words of encouragement, which she was grateful for, even taking the time to respond to most with a thank you or a smile. Since she clearly fell for Nick it might be rough at first, but likely she will find she is better off without him then always wondering where they stand.
