After years of dating and a whole fleet of gorgeous kids, Brad Pitt finally proposed to girlfriend Angelina Jolie. The couple had previously promised they were holding out on marriage until more gay rights laws passed, but were forced to cave after their kids demanded a wedding! After the proposal, Brad joked that he was “getting more pressure from [his] kids” about the wedding date, and he’s hinted that it will be soon!
Well, soon wasn’t soon enough for their six children, ages four through eleven. The kids orchestrated a Christmas wedding skit and performed it in front of Angelina, Brad, and grandpa Jon Voight. A source reported to Star Magazine, print edition January 14, 2013, “The youngsters enacted a wedding play that they had all worked on together. Shiloh stood in for Angie, Maddox played Brad, and the rest of their siblings filled the bill as various members of the wedding party. When Shiloh and Maddox finally exchanged vows, all the children cheered and clapped their hands. It was absolutely adorable.” Brad and Angie must be excited to be able to share their wedding day with the kids, and the kids are obviously dying for the party!
“It was an unsubtle hint from the kids that they’re anxious for their parents to marry,” the insider said. “It seemed especially touching. Brad and Angie were so moved, they got all teary-eyed. Even grandpa Jon was starting to sniffle.” All parents wait for their kids to marry, but the vice versa is rare! We’ve heard lots of reports on their upcoming wedding, including non-traditional matching tattoos, a family-only ceremony at their French chateau, and in-law feuds that threaten to undermine the whole event! But ultimately, it’s about Angie and Brad committing to each other in a a way that makes their kids proud!
