CANDICE GLOVER performed “Chasing Pavements” by Adele for her Top 2 AMERICAN IDOL “Simon Fuller’s Choice” performance tonight. Did you watch tonight’s show? We did and we recapped it here for you. The stakes are high tonight, each of the remaining ladies wants to WOW the judges and the viewers at home, to win the title of American Idol.
This week the hopeful Idols performed 3 songs each, one reprise of a song performed earlier in the season [VIDEO HERE], one chosen by Idol creator Simon Fuller, and one brand-new coronation song tailored to each singer. [VIDEO HERE]
On last week’s show Candice’s rendition of “Next To Me” by Emili Sande pleased the judges. Nicki said, “She has come out swinging in this competition & she’s so proud of her. Congratulations!” Candice sang “Somewhere” from West Side Story and the judges were blow away. Randy said, “She’s got the greatest vocals in Idol history. It was so incredible. He’s so proud of her.”
On the results show the winner of AMERICAN IDOL will be revealed. The results show looks like although the season has been lackluster the final results show will be a blockbuster. Rumor has it both Keith Urban and Mariah Carey are set to perform. Other performers rumored to be appearing are last year’s winner Philip Phillips, Adam Lambert, Jennifer Lopez, The Band Perry, Psy and a whole lot more.
