Just when I thought I had The Real Housewives of New Jersey chicks all figured out, one of them has to go and throw me a curve ball. Caroline Manzo is doing promotion for her new book and decided to approach the topic of fidelity. It’s one that we hear about all the time on this show. Teresa Giudice constantly insists that her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga is a whore and a half. Meanwhile Teresa’s own husband, good ol’ “Juicy Joe’ has been accused of cheating on numerous occasions. This time around though Caroline is weighing in on the subject in the latest issue of In Touch saying,
“If Al cheated on me 25 years ago, one night, that was then and this is now. No one on this planet could say with 100 percent certainty that their partner never cheated. I have no indication that he has, but if it didn’t happen yesterday, last week, a month ago, I’m not worried about it.”
She and Albert Manzo III have been together for half of eternity and have raised three adult children as well. She says that their marriage has been one of struggle, faith and solid communication. She believes that you just don’t throw all of those things away over a stupid one night stand, especially when people are human. If Caroline is so forgiving do you think that perhaps she would need the same forgiveness bestowed upon her? Perhaps she is guilty of a fling or two years ago and would want Al to grant her a bit of grace if the truth was revealed? Or, maybe fidelity has come up and they have worked through this issue for real and that’s why her perspective is a bit unusual on the topic.
