Any day now, Cressida Bonas and Prince Harry are going to get engaged. You know what that means? When Harry and Cressida do eventually get married, there’ll be pressure on Harry to produce kids. Sure, not as much pressure as there was on Prince William and Kate Middleton, but pressure nonetheless.
So is that why Cressida was carrying books about babies and kids last night? The report and speculation comes from the Daily Beast, which definitely feels like reaching. Just because Cressida happened to be carrying books about children, doesn’t mean that she’s suddenly got babies on her mind or is pregnant. She knows what she’s getting herself into, and I’m not saying she hasn’t thought about it at all. But she and Harry aren’t even engaged yet! Who’s to say something won’t happen and they end up breaking it off? Who’s to say that Harry will even propose to her? Or that they have kids immediately?
To be very honest, even the royal family seems to have a hard time seeing Harry as a responsible adult, much less a responsible father. When the time comes, I’m sure he’ll be up to the task, bla bla, but right now? Cressida reading books on children does not equal Cressida and Harry getting ready to have children. Maybe a bit of advanced research, but nothing she has to deal with right now.
What do you guys think? Was it a coincidence that Cressida had those books in her hand? Perhaps it had to with her professional and academic work, and nothing to do with her planning to become Harry’s baby mama.
