Who is Dakota Johnson dating? After Johnson was announced as Anastasia Steele for the upcoming Fifty Shades of Grey film adaptation, the fans have been asking this question. They are already starting to wonder if Dakota and her Christian Grey, Charlie Hunnam, will get together – but we would need to know if she’s single for that.
Alas, there’s not a lot of information available online because she’s not really a huge star. She’s had minor roles in major movies [including The Social Network and 21 Jump Street], but she did give an interview in 2010 that stated that she shares her apartment with her musician boyfriend of four years, who she’s been with since high school. Clearly, that’s a strong relationship.
However, she was also linked to Jake Gyllenhaal last year, even though her rep denied the rumors and stated that she and Jake had only met once before. So the tabloids seem to have no problems linking her with men, despite the fact that she supposedly has a boyfriend. But Dakota was spotted with her boyfriend, even though we don’t know if this is the same musician she spoke about in 2010, at an event in Madrid in March of this year.
Surprisingly, Dakota’s managed to keep some semblance of privacy after she returned from rehab at a very young age, which is kudos to her. Everybody should get a second chance, and she seems to be taking full advantage of hers.
