I’m not sure what Brooks Forester was expecting when he signed on to do The Bachelorette. He claims to have seen the show in the past and so he knew the premise of one woman dating several guys at once but the reality of it was apparently too hard for Brooks to handle. He made it to the final three and everyone including Desiree Hartsock thought he was the right choice but he abruptly decided to pull the plug on the experience and in effect sent himself home.
In the Aug. 19th print edition of National Enquirer source close to Brooks explains that after thinking that he shared a real connection with Des, Brooks was disgusted to see her romping in the hot tub, chugging champagne with another guy. Then the very next morning she was frolicking in a bikini with someone else. After seeing how easily she could juggle men and have different levels of intimacy with them, Brooks realized that even if Des picked him. he would have a hard time trusting her after the fact.
Des has also taken some heat for saying she believed that Brooks was her true match and then ending up engaged to Chris Seigfried hours later. It looks like she chose the best of the bottom two rather than ending up with her real first choice. It sounds like, by walking away, Brooks is the one who followed his heart and moral code. Do you think that Des and Chris will actually end up getting married or did she just choose one of the remaining guys for the sake of not going home alone? This process has so rarely worked, will Des and Chris get a happily ever after? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
