I’m still thinking that the fastest break up in The Bachelorette history might really come in the form of Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegried. Days after viewers watched Des’ heart be broken by Brooks Forester choosing to leave the competition she accepted Chris’ marriage proposal. He has still yet to watch the footage of Des and Brooks but Chris is now well aware that he was her second choice, at best.
According to the Sept. 2nd print edition of In Touch magazine, just 4 days after the couple shared their engagement on national television, they packed up and moved to Chris’ home base of Seattle together. To say that things aren’t going well would be an understatement. It was easy to love each others company when ABC was whisking them off on fabulous dates, but when they are spending their nights shopping at Target there seems to be no chemistry or affection between the two.
Des has decided to relocate for her new man which means her whole life has been turned upside down. Not only that but they are currently sharing a vehicle so when Chris heads to work Des is stuck at home and when he returns home the car still barely moves! That would be fine if the two appeared to be happy but those who have spotted them out say they look distant at best. Even Des’ brother, Nate Hartsock, says that his sister definitely settled for Chris and it shows in her actions and demeanor now.
