I think a lot of Bachelor fans were genuinely shocked to see Sean Lowe send Desiree Hartsock packing a few short months ago. Given the real state of his current made-for-tv-engagement he might have been better off if he had chosen her! But he didn’t and so, while Sean is miserable, Desiree is in a much more hopeful space. When ABC first approached her about becoming the next Bachelorette, Des hesitated. She had just gone through the ringer and wasn’t anxious to put her heart out there again, but eventually she changed her mind — I’m sure the financial incentive helped!
According to the June 3rd print edition of Life & Style Des is super excited to have 25 perfectly eligible bachelors that have been handpicked just for her. Her older brother says that she definitely has a type and usually ends up dating tall football players that are strong both mentally and physically, but lack a sensitive side. He’s hoping she finds a guy that has that side as well.
So here we go again, Desiree will be searching for love every Monday night as millions of viewers tune in to figure out who they think her perfect match is. But will she really find her version of Mr. Right? This show has a super high failure rate mostly because it’s easy to fall in love with a great looking guy when you’re sitting in paradise with not a single real life concern. What usually happens is that when these couples return to everyday life they realize they really aren’t compatible at all!
