We’ve just learned that Dina Eastwood will be gearing up to return to the world of news broadcasting. According to sources, Clint Eastwood‘s soon-to-be ex-wife (read all about the divorce HERE), will be going back to anchoring the news for the station she worked at many, many years ago. It’s so nice they’re welcoming her back!
TMZ reports: People at KSBW in Monterey, CA tell TMZ … Dina will be anchoring the 5PM newscast beginning today and will appear part-time on the newscasts. The News Director, Lawton Dodd, tells TMZ, Dina will be anchoring daily for the next 2 weeks (SWEEPS!) and will come back from time to time.
Dina worked at the station between the years of 1991 and 1996; it wasn’t until 1992 that she met Clint during an interview that, well, led to something quite special — until it turned out to be something *erm* not so special. Dina filed for divorce last month and, while we’re sure she’s not exactly hurting for cash, we know that Clint had an fairly intense prenup. At least Dina (Ruiz) Eastwood is being smart about this and looking out for herself and her family. What do you all thing? Is she hurting for money now that she doesn’t have the continual support of Clint’s bank account?
