Dylan Penn is featured in the latest issue of GQ Magazine, and of course, she’s asked about the rumors about her relationship with Robert Pattinson. Surprisingly, she straight up denies the stories, claiming that it’s all bullsh**. She says, “We’re talking about Rob here?… That’s been very foreign to me. But actually kind of funny, because it’s all bullsh**.”
Well, that’s classic denial tactic, right there. If these ‘rumors’ were just rumors in random tabloids, then you could maybe believe her. But considering that they’ve been spotted together more than once, and it was reported in People, someone close to Rob and Dylan blabbed. People doesn’t publish stuff without the consent of celebrities or their reps, and if they wrote that report, then they got permission from someone to do so.
So why is she denying the truth? It’s possible that, since Rob and Kristen Stewart had their little reunion, Dylan’s out of the picture. She might be bitter, and her comments would certainly reflect that. Of course, most sources say that Rob and Kristen are ‘just friends’, but I doubt Rob was ever really in the position to jump into another relationship. So maybe Dylan and Rob were just hooking up, i.e. friends with benefits, and the media blew it out of proportion. And by this point, that kind of relationship is so common in Hollywood that it’s barely considered an actual romantic ‘relationship’.
