Ellona Santiago took the stage tonight on THE X FACTOR USA for the live performance shows. Ellona sang “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” by Whitney Houston. Ellona is on Demi Lovato’s girls team and they decided to sing this song for her Motown choice. On tonight’s show the top 12 performed live in front of coaches Simon Cowell, Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato and Paulina Rubio for America’s vote and to make it another week. On tonight’s show the Top 12 Finalists will perform songs from the 1980s for the judges and America’s votes when the voting lines open immediately after the show.
Judges comments: Kelly: “I am telling you your voice is bigger than your body. In the beginning it was a bit rough, but I love watching you.” Paulina said, “You are perfectionist and I love what you did.” Simon said, “I thought the first 2/3 of the song was mad, I did not get it. The last 30 seconds it was great. One thing I would like to see you with is less choreography.” Demi said, “I agree you have such great voice and we have to focus on that. You killed it you are a diva. You picked yourself up.”
Because of a computer glitch the artists were required to perform twice last week. For Ellona’s “Save Me” song she sang “Titanium” and the judges said this about her performance, “Demi says that she honestly can’t be more proud of her right now; she feels like that she can work the stage alone perfectly. Simon says it is her best performance so far.” If you want to see Ellona Santiago make it another week, you have to vote for her.
To make up for last week having to bump Selena Gomez she will be performing this week her hit single, “Slow Down,” from her No. 1 album, “Stars Dance.” Also performing are Fifth Harmony, who will be promoting their new album, “Better Together.” By tomorrow Mario Lopez will announce two more acts eliminated from the competition
