Emily Maynard and Desiree Hartsock: Emily Admits She Was A Twitter B****

Considering that Emily Maynard was forced to make some difficult choices when she was the Bachelorette, you’d think she’d have some empathy for Desiree Hartsock. However, her Twitter feed during the Bachelorette finale was just one snarky comment after another.

Fans hit out against Emily for what they perceived to be rude and self-centered comments, but Emily later replied that it was her Twitter and she could write whatever she wanted. That’s certainly true, but it also makes her seem a little bitchy, no?

Anyway, I guess she learned her lesson about tweeting directly, so she instead took to retweeting snarky comments for the rest of the night. She retweeted one comment saying, “Sorry if I was being bitchy tonight guys. Watching with boys and expecting another ending… Was just being honest, brutally #bachelorette.” She also retweeted, “Oh please. Having an opinion doesn’t make you a bitch and making an observation doesn’t make you a bully.”

Clearly, a message to all the fans that were criticizing her for writing her opinion, but again, she’s entitled to her own opinion. She’s pretty much admitting that she was being a bitch, and she doesn’t care. I mean, it’s pretty hypocritical of her to criticize Desiree for choosing Chris Siegfried after Brooks Forester left her, especially when it’s not like she and Jef Holm lasted that long in the first place.

What do you guys think? Was Emily out of line, or was she entitled to tweet her own opinions? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
