Farrah Abraham is ten steps above the normal level of celebrity delusion. By now, everybody knows about her not sex-tape sex tape. For several weeks, Farrah tried to claim that it wasn’t actually a ‘sex tape’, but a private video. Of course, no one bought it, especially when James Deen admitted that it was shot and paid for. Nevertheless, she made plenty of money [a rumored high 6 figures] selling the video to Vivid Entertainment.
Now, after weeks of denying a sex tape, Farrah is of course owning up to it, and actually trying to defend it. She made a video in which she explained her actions, which she titled, “WHAT would YOU do #IF???”
In the video, she says, “You have been a single mother for four years, off and on dating loser-a** boys who always try to sell information, lie to you, manipulate, and you’ve just realized you’re an awesome person and you deserve someone.”
That’s nice that she calls herself an ‘awesome’ person. See, delusion. Wait, it doesn’t end there. She tries to explain why ‘being awesome’ and ‘deserving someone’ leads to making a sex tape by saying, “when you’re single and alone, you make your own video, celebrate your awesome body, get your own sexy shots.” And so… you celebrate your body by making a sex tape and selling it? Look, if she had just said – I’m a single mom, and I want money, everyone would have bought it. In fact, people might have even left her alone. But knowing her and her fame-whorey ways, it’s clear that Farrah was not thinking about her daughter, but herself and how to leverage her fame.
Kim Kardashian proved years ago that a sex tape is a viable way to get famous, and Farrah’s hoping to start her own Kardashian-like empire, no doubt. She should just stop trying to pretend otherwise.
