Fifty Shades of Grey began as Twilight fan fiction – random fact brought to you by Hope from Celebs Gather. “Author E.L. James based her main characters on the Twilight Saga couple Edward Cullen and Bella Swan who were portrayed in the films by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart,” writes Hope in her latest, very informational article. Edward Cullen was basically E.L. James’ fantasy, so she sat down, wrote a book, and made millions of millions of millions of dollars.
A film version is in development, and the casting war is one of the most heated discussions in all of Hollywood. Currently, Ian Somerhalder has been touted as Christian Grey, while the role of Anastasia Steele is still up in the air. However, according to Hope, Pattinson and Stewart “may be the perfect real life couple to play Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
We highly doubt they’ll ever be cast in Fifty Shades, especially since breaking reports surfaced today that reveal Pattinson and Stewart have finally broken up.
What do you think readers? Do you think K-Stew and R-Patz will make a great Fifty Shades cast? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
