George Zimmerman has gotten himself into some trouble again, and this time it could be quite serious. The man, who has had several encounters with authorities since the Trayvon Martin case ended, was taken into custody earlier after pulling a shotgun on his girlfriend. His girlfriend made a frantic call into 911 where she described the whole ordeal.
It wasn’t long before George placed his own call into 911, during which he said that his girlfriend just told him she was pregnant (not sure how or why this is a valid reason to start breaking everything in the house?). Based off the police report, George and his girlfriend got into a verbal dispute, after which he began breaking everything in the house with the butt of his shotgun. In other words, he was acting like a crazy-crazy-pants (and that’s probably putting it nicely).
TMZ reports: She told cops Zimmerman also began packing up his things — which included a shotgun and an assault rifle — but as the argument escalated, Zimmerman grew more upset … and took the shotgun out of its case. The GF announced she was going to call the police … and according to the report, that’s when Zimmerman leveled his shotgun at her and asked if she really wanted to do that. He then allegedly smashed a glass coffee table with the butt of the gun.
Police, after arriving on the scene, had to force their way into the house. They arrested George on a domestic violence felony charge and took him to jail, where he’s now resting in a private cell for his own protection. He was not awarded bail.
