Rumors have been swirling for months that Gwyneth Paltrow is having a feud with Vanity Fair. She has allegedly been trashing the mag and asked all of her friends to keep quiet if their writers come asking questions about her.
It wouldn’t be the first time that someone is Hollywood was angry with Vanity Fair’s writers but, according to editor-in-chief Graydon Carter, it is all part of the job. Gwyneth has never shied away from publicity so what could be the problem with having her face on the cover? Sources say that Vanity Fair might out her alleged affair with Jeff Soffer. While his name might not be well-known, Soffer is a bit of a celebrity in his own right. He’s a billionaire and married to Elle Macpherson.
Gwyneth’s relationship with Soffer is nothing new. She was at a party for the reopening of one of his Miami hotels in 2008 and sources say that she spent the night with him. If it’s true, their affair has been going on for a very long time!
Gwyneth has been married to rocker Chris Martin since 2003 and has two children, Apple, 9, and Moses, 7, with him. Could the affair end their marriage? In an interview with Refinery 29 last month, she said that cheating isn’t a big deal for her. When asked about infidelity, she said, “I would like to think that I would be forgiving and/or forgiven, but I can’t give an honest answer as I haven’t really experienced that.”
