Here Comes Honey Boo Boo “A Very Boo Thanksgiving” Recap 01/13/13

Tonight on TLC our favorite little redneck Alana Thompson and her family returns for the second of three  HERE COMES HONEY BOO BOO specials.  Tonight Miss Boo Boo will be treating us with a Thanksgiving special and like Honey Boo Boo says, “Lets get our Eat On!!”

On last week’s special we got to see the Boo Boo’s at Halloween and find out about Mama Boo Boo’s Mayonnaise phobia.  Pumpkin carving ended with Uncle Poodle stuck inside a pumpkin. Mama revealed a new look and Alana was determined to get the most candy ever!  If you missed the episode you can catch a full and detailed recap here!

On tonight’s show it’s Thanksgiving and the family prepares for the biggest meal of the year. Mama is determined to keep Thanksgiving cheap and easy this year, but you never know what will happen when the whole family sits down for big a holiday feast.

Mama Boo Boo also decides that the family should get up at the crack of dawn to go to a farm to see live turkeys.  Now, it does not turn out to be a great idea since the Boo Boo’s love two things food and sleep.  Alana (Honey Boo Boo) has a bit of a meltdown, apparently she needs her, “Beauty Sleep!” LOL

Tonight’s episode looks like it is going to be another crazy Thompson family episode and you won’t want to miss it, so be sure to tune in for our live coverage of TLC’s “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo – Thanksgiving Special” at 9:00 PM EST! While you wait for our recap check two sneak peeks of tonight’s episode below!

Recap: June  is making another easy meal – dumping all the ingredients together until it looked worse than the most disgusting slop you’ve ever seen. Mama is planning to cook Thanksgiving dinner and the family is not pleased about, she admits she is no Martha Stewart but she thinks she can make something to make the family happy.

Alana is at the table, she is drawing turkeys out of her hand print. Next day at 6am, June has the hair brained idea to take Alana to this farm to get her own turkey. June is the first one up and gets a pot and a metal spoon to wake everyone else up. The family loves eating and sleeping even more. All Alana can think of is her beauty sleep, but they all get up and out to the door with lots of cussing.

At the farm, Alana learns to milk a cow and goat, when nobody is looking, she drinks right from the goat. Alana is next off to check out the turkeys and she thinks it is so awesome to see a real live turkey. Now June has big problems, Alan was a real live pet turkey to take home with her.

Back at home, Alana doesn’t get her turkey, but she gets a pet chicken and can’t believe it’s in her house. Alana has the chicken wrapped up in a blanket and because she likes chicken nuggets, she calls her “Nugget”. Mike is looking forward to getting fresh eggs, he wants to make a quiche.

Nugget poops on the floor and Alanna should pick it up because June tells her that it is one of her duties, but she doesn’t. Meanwhile, June is going shopping for Thanksgiving dinner. Lauryn has an eye injury and June is looking forward to her getting better and getting back to school. June is at the piggly wiggly trying to get her shopping done. June is picking off-brand names, she thinks they are just as good as brand names. Alana picks the cranberry jelly, she thinks it is the “food of Gods” and takes 24 cans. They leave the store and Alana chants a Thanksgiving song on the way out.

Alana tries to make the girls eat raw collard greens and tells them the only that eats the most wins $100 and some jog jow. Jessica ate about five leaves and her stomach is sore, she overdid it. Anna won, Jessica threw up. There was definitely a method to June’s madness, she didn’t want to make the collard greens that the kids did for Thanksgiving and now she doesn’t have to.

Nugget lives in the living room, she has a pen outside but Alana won;t let her go out. Nugget sits on everyone’s head and scratches them. Nugget pisses on the floor and Alana calls June.

Lauryn is feeling better and June us thrilled with the holidays around the corner.

Mike brought home the turkey, it weighs 16 pounds and June really doesn’t know what to do it. Alanna names the turkey Billy Bob and she and June lather the bird with tons of butter and for good measure, she sneezes on the turkey a few times and tells Alana it is their secret. This woman is beyond disgusting… June has the turkey in the oven but she;;’s not optimistic, she prefers cooking ham.

The next day, June opens about 50 cans for the dinner. Twelve cans of cranberry jelly spread in a pan and rubbed on with tons of sugar. Next, she de-bones the turkey, adds lots of eggs and puts it back in a pan in the oven. The girls are outside and they set the table, there is dog poo on the table cloth, but no problem, they just turn it upside down. Everyone is outside and starts serving themselves. Alana helps herself to cranberry jelly with her hands then she wants to say grace and in the middle, she farts. Is there anything more repulsive than this family?

The family passes around a turkey hat and tell each other what they are thankful for, in between burps. In perfect “Boo Boo” style, once everyone is done eating they have a food fight.

Later, June finds the wishbone in her turkey mush and she and Alana make a wish, Alanna wins breaking off the bigger piece. June uses her piece for toothpick.

The end!
