Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev may have reunited in Toronto last week for a hospital visit to an ailing girl, but once they landed back in LA it seems the former couple quickly went their separate ways again. Nina had tweeted about trying to knock down someone’s emotional walls, but quickly deleted it when Celeb Dirty Laundry caught onto it. The duo was somewhat quiet last week but then as the weekend rolled around they made it very clear that they were most definitely not together.
Instead Ian was traveling to Chicago and tweeted to his followers about a scary flight, thanks to good ol’ turbulence.

As Ian was free-falling Nina was at home getting glammed up for a photo shoot. In the past, when the two were tight Nina would most definitely have commented on Ian’s scary tweet. Instead she chose to stay quiet which just further fuels the rumor that they are not on the best of terms. If you saw the photos from last weekend – check below – you know that I’m right. Ian looked thoroughly irritated with his former girl and Nina was the portrait of an overly emotional chick dealing with a split.
Do you believe that the only thing still binding Nina and Ian are work commitments and keeping up appearances? They seem to want fans to think that things are amicable but what I see is a guy who is happy to move on and a young woman that still thinks she can somehow fix it.
