Josh Levi took the stage tonight on THE X FACTOR USA for the first of the live performance shows. Josh Levi sang “Straight Up” by Paula Abdul. Josh was brought back by the coaches because they did not think he should go home and they decided to give him this song for his 1980 song choice. On tonight’s show the top 12 performed live in front of coaches Simon Cowell, Kelly Rowland, Demi Lovato and Paulina Rubio for America’s vote and to make it another week. Did you watch tonight’s performance show? We did and we recapped it here for you.
On tonight’s show the Top 12 Finalists will perform songs from the 1980s for the judges and America’s votes when the voting lines open immediately after the show.
Judges comments: Kelly said, “I think you young man has just arrived. You gotta live more outside yourself.” Demi said, “Right now I don’t know how you were eliminated. You are amazing.” Simon said, “This is improving the point that one thing we are listening to karaoke singers and the next thing we are listening to a star. You were sensational.” Paulina said, “Josh what a great job, you delivered every single note, you danced fantastic.”
Because of a computer glitch the artists were required to perform twice last week. For Josh’s “Save Me” song he sang “Stay.” The judges said this about his performance, “Simon says that he did a winning performance; he is so impressed with his vocals. Paulina says she is so proud of him and showed why he belongs on that stage.” If you want to see Josh make it another week, you have to vote for him.
To make up for last week having to bump Selena Gomez she will be performing this week her hit single, “Slow Down,” from her No. 1 album, “Stars Dance.” Also performing are Fifth Harmony, who will be promoting their new album, “Better Together.” By tomorrow Mario Lopez will announce two more acts eliminated from the competition
