The Prince of Cambridge has finally arrived. Just minutes ago it was announced that Kate Middleton gave birth to a little boy weighing in at 8 lbs 6 oz. My husband just emailed me, “What the hell was she eating!” Haha, I had to laugh at that. He knows next to nothing about celebrity nonsense but that fact that he emailed me about the weight right away is funny. I can’t believe she had an 8-pounder. True, we haven’t seen her in over a month but I don’t know where she was hiding that baby. Must have been under all those coats! He could just be long though. It’s not like Kate or Prince William are short or anything.
So now we can play the name game for the baby boy. Kate Middleton doesn’t have to worry about the whole Princess Diana thing now, thank God. The bookies still say George is the frontrunner. King George VII? Very regal. Very old. Very Cambridge. We might have a wait before we find that out though. Apparently royal baby names can take awhile.
So… I’m spent. What do we have to look forward to now? The pics on the hospital steps of course! I doubt it will happen tomorrow. Won’t the hospital keep Kate for a couple days to monitor the baby? I’m not saying she’ll stay as long as Kim Kardashian but I doubt we’ll see anything tomorrow but I could be wrong. Still, she still has to rest, get a proper blow out and full make-up before she leaves and I can’t see all that happening in the next 24 hours. Maybe we’ll all have a day off. We could use it after this past week of waiting! Congrats Cambridges!
