So of course it’s not just Kate Middleton who’s shaking in her thigh high boots at the thought of Prince Harry growing close to Cressida Bonas. Camilla Parker-Bowles isn’t too happy at the thought of Ms. Bonas possibly entering The Firm, either.
Cress is part of the BBB crowd – Blue-Blooded and Blonde – and reminds everyone of Harry’s mother and Camilla’s arch enemy, Princess Diana. Cressy comes from an aristocratic background, is blonde, fresh-faced and sweet and studies dance. If she did marry into the royal family, she’d be a constant reminder to the public of Diana and what Camilla did to her. The public are still having a hard time swallowing the fact that Camilla will be Queen Consort, or at the very least Princess Consort, to Prince Charles one day. But the constant reminder of Diana Cress inspires will no doubt cast a dark shadow over Camilla’s crown.
I wouldn’t be surprised if a royal insider let loose the news that Kate and Camilla, who get along rather well, are in secret cahoots to take down Haz’s budding relationship with Cress. No doubt they’re counting their blessings that H actually isn’t attending Isabella Calthorpe’s wedding to Sam Branson next week. Hmmm… wonder if Camilla and Kate had something to do with that? And if Carole Middleton got in on the action? Cress B. comes from a proper aristocratic background and was born into the world of wealth and privilege – she’d make the whole social climbing Middleton clan look bad, and of course the constant reminder of Isabella to Prince William, who likely still holds a torch for the blonde beauty, doesn’t please Kate one bit.
Will Cress last the war against her? Will she be able to stand the backlash that Kate, Carole, and Camilla are plotting against her? If I were Cress, I’d be quivering – those three are vicious about getting rid of the enemy when it comes to getting what they want. And if they want Cress out, well then I have to wonder just how much longer she’ll last?
