Camilla Parker-Bowles is already furious at the amount of time she is forced to spent with the Middletons, so you can imagine her state right now. According to a report from The Sun, Queen Elizabeth invited Kate Middleton’s parents Carole and Michael to spend time with the royals at Sandringham for Christmas.
I doubt this was something the Queen thought of herself, and it’s likely it was due to Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Queen probably realized that if the Middletons weren’t invited, Will would probably have spent time at Bucklebury for Christmas – and she probably wants to spend her grandson’s first Christmas together.
Regardless, this is not the first time that the Queen has chosen the Middletons over Camilla, and it’s making her spitting mad. She was never a priority when it came to Prince George‘s first few days, which was also spent at Bucklebury. We already know she hates spending time with the ‘commoner’ Middletons, and she believes it’s below her station to associate with them. Unfortunately for her, William doesn’t agree and what he wants, the Queen will give – especially now that he’s provided the heir to the throne.
Besides, Will and Kate probably really want George to spend time with Kate’s parents because it’s more ‘normal’, and as we’ve seen, they’re trying to give him as normal of an upbringing as they can in these particular circumstances. And if Camilla can’t deal with that, she’ll just have to stew in her jealousy alone. For her, it may be about pride and status but for Will, it’s about family and loyalty. So whether Camilla likes it or not, the Middletons have officially become an extension of the royal family.
