If you’ve been following Kate Middleton‘s pregnancy at all, then you should be well aware of the fact that she’s ready to give birth any day now — should be soon! Prince William is about to begin his adventure into fatherhood, but there are also other members of the family who will be embarking on new adventures after the arrival of this new baby, most notably Prince Charles, who will begin his journey as a grandfather.
On Friday, Prince Charles took a quick trip to Kenfig where he visited with a group of women who said that he better spoil that new grandchild of his like nobody’s business. Supposedly, they told him that he should spoil the child but then, at the end of the day, give the child back to the parents. He was also told that he will “tend to have more time for your grandchild than you had for your children.”
It’s been known for a while now that Kate Middleton and Prince William are planning on taking a relatively down-to-earth approach to raising their child, despite the lavish and royal upbringing he or she’ll be unable to escape. You can only be so sheltered when you’re on the center stage of royalty.
When asked if he’s looking forward to greet and spend time with the baby, he says that he’s definitely looking forward to his new grandchild entering the world, as it’s important to establish a bond with them while they’re young.
The group of advising ladies are a group of woman that first got together to celebrate Charles’s coronation in 1969. They call themselves the “Tuesday Ladies.” Though, after their meeting with him, they’ve changed their name to Charlie’s Angels.
