Prince William shocked people a few weeks ago by announcing his retirement from the Royal Air Force and then explained that he was ready to embark on a transitional year. That transition makes sense as he needs to acclimate back into civilian life and then there’s new fatherhood keeping him on his toes as well. It seems though that there is quite a bit more on William’s plate than he has let on. According to the Sept. 30th print edition of GLOBE magazine William is getting ready to begin intensive training on how to be King.

We had previously heard that Queen Elizabeth intends to abdicate next year, handing over power to William rather than his father, Prince Charles. For a brief time it looked like the queen was going to fall into protocol and allow Charles to take over but in recent months rumblings have indicated that there is no way in hell she wants her beloved country left in the hands of her son and his rotten wife, Camilla Parker-Bowles.

William is her first choice because he and Kate Middleton are both loved and respected by the British people, making them the perfect choice for King and Queen. He also now has a young family and tries to live a simple life which means he relates well to the needs of the people. He will likely spend this year being advised on how to handle all of the possible calamities that could befall Britain so that by the time next summer rolls around William will feel ready and confidant to step up and into power.

Do you think that William is the better choice to proceed Elizabeth in power? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
