According to a recent report from Radar Online, Khloe Kardashian has decided to go on a worldwide tour to meet her fans, leaving behind her estranged husband, Lamar Odom, and the rest of her famewhore family. But don’t worry, Khloe would never do this out of the goodness of her heart. No, there’s financial incentive involved, of course.
If you want to meet Khloe, you have to first buy one item from the Kardashian’s clothing line – and that doesn’t even guarantee entry. After you buy the item, you then receive a special code within a certain date, and that code is later entered into sweepstakes for a chance to meet Khloe. That’s right, a CHANCE to meet her. And we all know how these sweepstakes work, right? Half the time, they’re rigged, and with Khloe at the helm, I’m sure there’ll be some funny business behind-the-scenes.
I mean, who does she think she is?! Does she think that people all over the world are desperate enough to meet her that they’ll actually buy an item of overpriced clothing just for the possibility of meeting her? And not even really ‘meeting her’, but more like saying two words to her and getting something signed.
See, this is what the delusion of celebrity does to you when you’re a reality star. They start to think that they’re actually famous, and the sad thing is, there are people abroad that will buy these clothes and stand in line for hours to meet the Kardashians. It’s a sad reflection of the state of our society, but there it is. I can only hope that barely anyone signs up, and Khloe ends up being humiliated and embarrassed – and then maybe she’ll think twice before using her poor fans to boost the sales of her clothing line. Ugh.
