Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, despite the whole world thinking that they wouldn’t last longer than a couple of months, have somehow made it past the one year mark. Kanye officially confirmed that he and Kim were together in April 2012, months after she broke up with Kris Humphries.
Of course, this led to some hilarious photo-ops where Beyonce and Jay-Z refused to acknowledge Kim’s presence, and seemed to side-eye Kanye for dating her. Regardless, to all intents and purposes, Kim and Kayne became ‘Kimye’ and a new couple was borne.
Now, OK! Magazine reports that Kim’s been having secret contact with her ex-boyfriend Reggie Bush. OK’s source claims, “There’s a big smile on Kim Kardashian’s face these days — and it’s all because of Reggie Bush! [The exes] secretly got in touch recently to talk about babies. They have had several phone calls after he reached out to congratulate her on her pregnancy. With his own baby on the way, they had a lot to talk about.”

Of course, the source claims that Kanye hasn’t been too happy about this recent development, adding, “He isn’t thrilled that Reggie has been trying to rekindle his friendship with Kim. When they first started dating, Kanye didn’t want to start a relationship until he knew she was over her exes.” Of course, Kim’s not happy with Kanye thinking like this, and according to the same source, “Kim thinks Kanye’s being paranoid and can’t believe he wouldn’t trust her!”
Is it just me, or do most tabloid reports read like fan fiction? With! Exclamation! Points! Good work Kim, but if you want people to believe the reports, try making it a little bit more believable next time.
I will admit – it’s completely plausible for Kanye to be angryKanye! if someone’s trying to hit on his girlfriend. And goodness knows, there’s been enough reports of Reggie Bush never being completely over Kim [why, I will never know]. Most boyfriends don’t like their girlfriends hanging out and/or talking to ex-boyfriends, so it’s not odd to think that it might be the same in this case. However, do I believe for one second that Kim would call Reggie to discuss babies? No. But it makes her seem like a good mother-to-be, doesn’t it? Manipulating the media is Kim’s favorite pastime, and Kanye’s either too busy to care or too dumb to notice.
