Kim Kardashian may be pregnant with Kanye West’s baby, but that doesn’t mean her foreseeable future is full of baby names and wall colors. In fact, Kim’s legal drama with pending ex-husband Kris Humphries is just starting! The two called their marriage quits in October 2011, but haven’t been able to settle in court because Kris claims the marriage was a fraud, and is seeking an annulment. Kim, who doesn’t want to admit she did it for the money, insists her love was real, and that a divorce is necessary. Since Kris can’t get his way in court, he’s drawing the divorce out as long as he can—and sources say Kim will probably be a mom before the split is finalized!
“Kris told his friends the pregnancy is the best thing to happen for him,” a source reported to Us Weekly, print edition January 28, 2013. “He says he has all the power again.” Kris has insisted that every member of the Kardashian family be deposed, which will help to drag on the divorce proceedings even longer. “Kanye did the deposition for Kim and was proud to do so.” Apparently, Kris’s plan backfired when his legal team, starstruck, asked Kanye for signatures! “Kris was furious his team was acting like fans.” How’s that for professional?
It seems like Kim should just agree to the annulment, right? Unfortunately, “it would be perjury,” and would allow Kris to “sell his story . . . the confidentiality clause would also go.” So Kim’s hands are tied! If she sticks with the divorce, she’ll face the added stress of paternity testing to prove Kanye West is the daddy, and if she agrees to an annulment, she’ll admit to lying under oath and give Kris the power to tell all her secrets! What’s a reality TV star to do?
Kris is hoping to publicly humiliate Kim by having her testify with a big pregnant belly. “Kim could be seven or eight months pregnant, and she’ll have to go into court and explain her love for someone else. This is not an ideal situation. She doesn’t want to be married to Kris when she has Kanye’s baby.” Since the divorce proceedings started, Kim has lost all respect for her second husband. “Kim has seen Kris show his true colors. She can’t imagine what it would be like if they had kids.” Kris’s plan to sabotage Kim’s life doesn’t seem to be working though—the legal stress and drama has just “brought [Kim and Kanye] closer. Kanye is able to calm her.” He’s got plenty of time while his legal team proceeds with depositions—what nasty plan will he think up next? Does Kim deserve this, or should Kris lay off and settle?
Editor’s Note: Let’s keep in mind during this Kardashian/Humphries divorce drama that the ONLY reason Kim and Kris Jenner won’t offer up the annulment Kris demands is because an annulment invalidates the prenup that Hump unfortunately signed. This prenup forces Hump to keep his mouth shut about the lying scheming Kardashian/Jenner axis of evil. Let’s hope that Hump gets his well-deserved annulment – the marriage was a total fraud on Kim’s part – and that he then goes to town exposing the Kardashians and Jenners for what they really are. It’s a tough job for Celeb Dirty Laundry to keep doing all on our own.
