I’m shocked by this. No, seriously. I’m not trying to be an asshole. This was totally out of left field for me. I thought they were good. I didn’t expect to wake up to a massive Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson Break Up Again story this morning. Were there signs? Did we miss something? Ahh! What happened?
Usually I would be dismissive. We’ve all heard this song and dance before countless times. But this is coming from People – not always the most reliable – but it’s not Star magazine so it can be considered without a major eye roll.
But I thought they were straight. Kristen and Rob have had a pretty eventful spring. They were cuddling at Coachella, celebrating birthdays and hanging out in NYC after the Met Gala. After Rob came home from Australia they were pretty much attached at the hip. But then there was this. Yes, Rupert Sanders rumors started again. I know EVERYONE keeps telling me the dude in the car was NOT Rupert but I’m a believer. There has been no undeniable proof it wasn’t Rupert either. Maybe that was the straw that broke the camel’s back? But that was awhile ago. Wouldn’t Rob have broken it off right then? Why wait?
People’s source says not to be surprised if the couple gets back together again. Obviously with these two that’s always a possibility. The first break up was too harsh, too sudden. It scared the shit out of them so all they wanted to do was recreate the norm and rekindle as soon as possible. This break up might be different though. They’ve voluntarily spent a large amount of time alone because of work. They both have their own friends (cough, cough Katy Perry). This break might last. But without Kristen screwing a nasty director in plain sight I’m at a loss. What happened? Who’s to blame? Is it amicable? Are Rob and Kristen over for good? I hate waiting!
