Well this is a bit awkward! Kristen Stewaert and Robert Pattinson are rumored to have gone their separate ways but Twilight fans are giving them a bit of a last hurrah. They’ve just won an award for best kiss at the Empire Cinemans Alternative Movie Awards. They also won best on-screen couple as well.
The two may have won over Twihards with their movie magic but in real life the couple has all but crashed and burned. Supposedly they are waiting until the last Twilight film is released on DVD before officially announcing their split. They may not admit it yet on the record but it’s pretty obvious that their lives are going on without each other. Rob is in Australia filming The Rover and he hasn’t exactly been sulking in his trailer. Instead he has been spotted dining with a hot blonde and then there are those rumors of a Demi Lovato meeting or two.
Kristen seems to be licking her breakup wounds a bit and keeping a low profile. No doubt she’s realizing that she is to blame for them crashing and burning and at least for now the sourpuss has a real reason to look miserable. The fans will likely have a harder time letting the idea of this couple go then the stars ultimately will. Everyone likes a love story and for some reason Bella and Edward really stuck with the younger set and the fact that the actors were also involved get it extra mileage. But did they ever really pack serious heat? I don’t think so .
