On Saturday night, while Hollywood signed contracts and bought souls, Kylie Jenner and Jaden Smith had a sushi dinner at London’s famed Nobu restaurant. This odd coupling, being very neo-Shakespearean in its totality, has the entertainment industry foaming at the mouth, because Smith comes from a family with a bigger social conscience than a Buddhist temple, while Jenner comes from a family filled with misfits, carnival tricks, and more Botox than a plastic surgeon can handle. According to The Daily Mail, “The pair have been rumoured to be dating as of late, as they have been spotted frequently together over the last week as they both were visiting New York and now London.” On the recent sushi date, they were chaperoned by Will Smith, Jaden’s super famous dad. However, this did not deter photographers and gossipmongers from blowing this story up like a failed nuclear explosion.
The two have been spotted out and about for the past week as they frequented hotspots in both London and New York. On Tuesday, Jenner posted a picture of Instagram of herself and Willow Smith “playing with dolls at the FAO Schwartz store in the Big Apple.” In London, Jenner and Smith not only ate sushi, but they also attended a Kanye West concert at which they appeared to be “particularly close”.
In reality, this might be nothing more than a blossoming friendship between two of Hollywood’s favourite kids, but the recent sightings and the apparent “closeness” of the two emulates the possibility of a “romantic” paring. Teenagers tend to fall in love quicker than people in a Nicholas Sparks movie on a crystal meth trip, so there’s a strong possibility that Smith and Jenner are “in love”. Only last year, Smith was linked to Kendall Jenner, Kylie’s older sis. He held her hand her 17th birthday party, but Kendall shrugged it off and called it a sibling bond.
