Leah Remini danced a Foxtrot, on the premiere of Dancing with the Stars season 17 tonight. Leah who recently dropped out of Scientology said she has little dance experience. This season features DWTS shaking things up by transitioning to a one night, two-hour format. Beginning with the second episode on Monday, September 23, one couple will be eliminated at the end of the show by combining the judges’ scores from the first two weeks with the public votes from the previous week. Each episode will open with a “massive dance number” and end with a pair being eliminated, with the exception of the premiere.
Leah Remini and professional dancer Tony Dovolani: dancing a Foxtrot. Leah had this to say about her dance, “it’s been difficult to stand up straight for the Fox Trot.” Tony said they are going to have the “best growing pattern”.
Judges Comments: Bruno said: “Are you sure you never danced that before. You practiced a lot, it shows. I liked the foxy trot you put in. You put Miley Cyrus in.” Carrie Ann: “You are sass and class. Your hands are gorgeous, just extend in the future.” Len: “It was a little careful, but it was clean and precise.”
