After undergoing a sleeve gastrectomy (a form of gastric bypass) more than a year ago, Lisa Lampanelli AKA Queen of Mean, is showing off her new bod to the world, revealing that she’s lost more than 100 pounds! While the surgery helped her achieve her goals, she admits that it’s not a permanent fix and, if she wants to maintain her new figure, she’s going to have to work hard for it.
Lisa posted the photo on her WhoSay account, and she appears to be very proud of her new body, new look, and the milestone she’s achieved. Several months ago, Lisa told Huff Post, “I have to figure out my addiction issue and how I even got overweight in the first place.”
In the past, she also chatted with Dr. Oz about her battles with her weight: “For 32 years –- from 18 to 50 –- I tried everything on the planet, and once I had a clean slate with that I said, ‘You know what? Nothing’s working for me. I’m going to treat this like the addiction that it is. I’m going to get this surgery and use it as a tool.’ That’s all it is, a tool to help me get over it.”
What do you think about Lisa’s new look? Below are some photos from her past, including a few from her time on Celebrity Apprentice, during which she offended nearly every contestant and person on the planet at some point or another.
