Lamar Odom‘s attempt at winning Khloe Kardashian back is still going strong, especially with his recent sober streak. He reportedly turned down advances by Miley Cyrus and refused to hang out with her at a club, likely not wanting to be influenced by her crazy partying. It’s only been a few months since he’s been on a drug binge, and we know that he hasn’t even been to rehab since. The chances of him relapsing are particularly high, one of the reasons that his marriage to Khloe remains in the dumps.
Life & Style Magazine reports that Lamar and Miley were both at the Beacher’s Madhouse in Los Angeles recently, where Miley noticed Lamar. A source explains, “She invited him to come smoke and hang out with her,” a fellow partygoer tells Life & Style. [But] Lamar didn’t want to be next to Miley and for rumors to fly.”
Damn. Lately, all Miley has to do is be seen next to a person, and the rumors start circulating, don’t they? In this case, she didn’t even need to be seen hanging out with him, just asking him to hang out seems to have done the trick.
Now, I think the tabloids are making a bigger deal out of this than actually exists. I can believe that Lamar still has a glimmer of hope that he’ll eventually get back with Khloe one day, and so he’s doing everything he can not to screw up that chance. I mean, he’s actually voluntarily spending time with Bruce Jenner!
But in Miley’s case, I don’t think she meant anything by asking him to hang out with her. Sure, it was a little insensitive for her to invite him to come party, considering his background. But hey, that’s Miley for you.
