If you thought for one minute that Paris Jackson would recover from her suicide attempt in peace you’d be dead wrong- she is a member of the Jackson clan and with that inevitably comes a boat load of drama. I guess it’s really a good thing to see so many adults rallying around her but that is quickly turning into a heated custody battle. Katherine Jackson, Paris’ 83-year old grandmother is supposed to retain custody but it looks like she may have a fight on her hands.
According to the July 1st print edition of National Enquirer, both Debbie Rowe and Diana Ross are ready to fight for custody of Paris if need be. In recent months the 15-year old has been allowed to get to know Debbie who is her biological mom and it seems the two have really clicked. Paris has enjoyed her time with Debbie and was rumored to want to go and live on her mother’s horse ranch a few hours outside of L.A.
Diana Ross also plays an interesting part in this whole scenario because she was chosen to be godmother of Michael Jackson’s children and if Katherine couldn’t raise them then it was laid out in his will that Diana should be next in line. It’s a role she seems to take very seriously and while she hasn’t intervened yet, she is keeping a close eye on things. If Diana feels that Katherine blows it she is said to be ready for a court battle to make sure that Michael’s daughter gets what she needs.
