The L.A. county coroner has finished the autopsies on Paul Walker and Roger Rodas and has stated that further information regarding their deaths could be released as early today. The coroner set out to determine/record official cause of death and to make a positive ID on both bodies, which was delayed slightly due to the fact that dental records were needed to perform the identification. Officials are still investigating the accident.
Not long after the crash, we reported the news: Paul was in the passenger seat at the time of crash and Roger died in the crash as well. The car exploded and burst into flames upon impact.
The accident happened in Santa Clarita, north of Los Angeles where Paul was at a car show in support of the Philippines typhoon relief effort. He and his pals where enjoying test rides in the Porsche GT and the fatal accident occurred during one of these test rides.
We’ll definitely keep you updated as news develops and as information from the coroner’s office is released to the public. People are expecting the news to arrive later today day; however, I’d probably expect to see more specifics tomorrow morning. We’ll be sure to post the news as soon as we catch wind of it.
