Is Pippa Middleton really that fascinating? Everyone keeps saying that she keeps stealing the limelight from the royals, and while that’s obviously true, it makes zero sense to me why everyone finds her so enthralling. Isn’t she dull? Anyway, The Daily Beast reports that, while the media was supposed to be focused on a boring lunch at Buckingham palace involving a bunch of stuffy royals, they instead went crazy reporting on Pippa’s supposed engagement.
US Weekly reported on Pippa’s engagement. While the official confirmation has yet to come through, I think it’s fair to say that Pippa and Nico Jackson are definitely engaged. And not just engaged, but hogging the limelight, apparently.
Sorry, but Prince George at a pre-Christmas celebration at Buckingham palace is greater than Pippa Middleton’s engagement. But not everyone agrees. Social media exploded yesterday after the engagement was reported, whereas the royal luncheon was barely spoken about.
Of course, Pippa’s not new to stealing the limelight and becoming the center of attention, even if she does it unintentionally. The royal wedding between Kate Middleton and Prince William was supposed to be the wedding of the century, but who were half the people talking about the next morning? Pippa and her body. Obviously, she’s since taken advantage of the public fascination by getting odd jobs writing columns in Vanity Fair and the like. She’s clearly trying to keep the momentum going before people realize that she’s actually dreadfully boring.
