Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom have been trying to have a baby since 2009, but it doesn’t seem to be in their cards. Khloe can’t seem to conceive, unlike pregnant sister Kim Kardashian, and it’s isolating her from the Kardashian family more than ever! Khloe is unable to celebrate with her sisters while she is so devastated about the state of her own life. Not only have her baby dreams been dashed, her husband’s wandering eye refuses to be reigned in! Now, Khloe has been stabbed in the back by Kim, who, in typical fashion, is stealing all of Khloe’s attention!
“It’s kind of a miracle that I even got pregnant,” Kim Kardashian joked. Life & Style, print edition February 4, 2013, reported that “Khloe is a wreck,” and is “trying to stay positive but . . . she’s hurting inside.” Khloe is disgusted by Kim’s comparison, and hardly thinks that a six month romance followed by an unplanned pregnancy constitutes a medical miracle! Not only is Kim totally unsympathetic to her plight, but she and Kourtney Kardashian have ditched her to gush about babies nonstop! Since getting pregnant, Kim has “bonded with Kourtney so much.”
Add intense sibling rivalry to her list of woes! “Khloe thinks it’s weird because she and Kourt were so close,” but now that she’s knocked up, Kim has stolen “her place” with Kourtney! A family friend explains Khloe’s trauma, chalking it up to “the fact that she can’t have a baby in an otherwise very fertile family.” Now, she’s feeling “like even more of a misfit.”
Fertility aside, if Khloe really wants a baby, why doesn’t she just adopt? Sure, Lamar’s disgusting abandonment of his children from a past relationship won’t look good on the adoption application, but their celebrities—surely they could work something out! But Khloe won’t give in. “She’s torn up about her marriage being on the rocks and everyone talking about it. Things are just falling apart for her and she feels lost.” Is a baby really the way to fix it all and find herself, or would a bi-weekly therapy appointment do her real good?
