Aria worried about Mike’s behavior in light of an incident at school and Ezra struggled with how he now fits into her life. Meanwhile, The Liars were determined to find a new suspect in Wilden’s murder and their tactics have unintended consequences. And, “A’s” new plan threatened to send everything crashing down around one of the Liars.

On tonight’s show Hanna comes up with a desperate plan to save her mother from a conviction and turns to the only person she thinks can help – Mona. Like refugees (okay, wealthy refugees) Emily and her mom have moved into a motel. The driver of the car had made a quick getaway but Mrs. Fields is a cop and she’s going to start looking for answers. As of now Emily hasn’t said anything about “A”.

Hanna isn’t doing well either. She still went with “Not Guilty” despite Hanna’s pleas and the judge refused bail. Ashley is now being remanded to a state prison. Hanna is eaten up with guilt and afraid about having to move in with her dad and his new family. Put in such a corner, what will she do next?

She is ignoring Caleb’s calls. He’s desperate enough to beg Spencer to intercede for him. After hearing what happened to Emily who wouldn’t be a little on edge. Hanna does the most idiotic thing possible. She goes to Mona for help in confessing to Wilden’s murder.

While she’s had her epiphany, Emily ignores “A” and focuses on college and Toby if off in New York hunting down possible leads. Then there’s Mike, Aria’s brother, who has taken up karate classes. Everyone is just reacting. Sometimes without any consideration to the consequences.

Even the supposedly smart Spencer. The D.A. office has sent over files to be reviewed by her mother for Ashley’s case. Spencer believed it was wise to take some files namely an article titled Eddie Lamb. The very same orderly from the seemingly one psyche ward located nearby. Spencer being herself decides to confront him with the document.

Its from the night Toby’s mother died. Eddie luckily doesn’t appear to be a bad guy. He suspected Wilden was paid off to cover up Mrs. Kavanagh’s death. But he never pursued it figuring what good it would do to bring it up.

Over at the prison, Ashley called in Caleb to talk about Hanna. She knows with a maternal instinct that Hanna is planning something stupid and she wants Caleb to stop her daughter before its too late. Hanna went to Mona because she feels who better to learn how to tell a lie from. What makes it worse is the fact Mona is a good teacher. Too good. She just showing how Hanna how to claim self-defense when Caleb catches them. The two mange to downplay their rekindling friendship and send Caleb off. Hanna’s lying has gotten better.

Or maybe not seeing as once Hanna tries too leave the house Caleb walks right out in front of her. He gets his answers. Ok so he thought Ashley did do it at first but now he knows Ashley’s innocent. He also knows her plan is dumb. Kid prison is similar to adult prison. A fact that hadn’t filtered in for Hanna.

Mike has been taking karate class because his teammates still suspect him of destroying the car. He admitted to Aria’s former instructor/ex that he’s been a lot of flak lately. He didn’t want Aria to know and for good reason. She freaks out over one phone call. She only calms down after Jake, the instructor, is able soothe her. He then pins her down for another date. Hopefully it’ll be better than the last one.
Emily’s focus on her future while good was basically her hiding from the damage. She saw her mom falling apart and ignored it till she couldn’t anymore. Instead of traveling to foreign countries to build houses for others maybe she work with her mom to rebuild their home.

In one of the best decisions yet Spencer tried to turn to her mom for help. She points out Wilden’s crookedness but her mom think its insignificant. They’re about to get into it when a phone call interrupts them.

Mona walked into the police station. She informed the desk clerk she wanted to talk about a murder. Then she admitted to killing Wilden. Was Mona being a good friend or is she being a honest person?
