Prince William returned to Anglesey last work to suit up for his day job as an RAF pilot and quickly realized that the job no longer had the appeal that it once did. After two weeks hunkered down with Kate Middleton and Prince George at the Middleton family’s mansion in Bucklebury you’d think William would have been grateful to return to normal life. Instead his newly expanded family has made the well-respected prince realize that it’s time to re-prioritize.
At an appearance at the annual agriculture show William confirmed that rather than Kate and George joining him in Wales as originally planned, he will instead be leaving his post as a helicopter pilot and will settle into a more traditional life in London. It is rumored that he may take a position with London’s Household Cavalry which would help to ease him into a more normal life as a royal.
Perhaps William realized that it was no longer wise to put his own safety at risk on rescue missions when he now has a son to care for. Becoming a father changes many men and it’s entirely possible that William decided that it’s time to stop taking huge risks that could ultimately keep him from his family or worse, leave Kate widowed with a sea of royal sharks to contend with on her own.
CDL told you awhile ago that Queen Elizabeth had told William of her plan to pass the throne over to him within a year of George’s birth and this career switch also does seem to bolster that notion. He is easing into a lifestyle that would be necessary and befitting of a king. Is leaving the RAF William’s first step in the meticulous plan of becoming king?
