Queen Elizabeth Meets Great-Grandchild Who Will One Day Be King of England – Prince George!
When Queen Elizabeth met Prince George Alexander Louis 17 hours after his birth it was a historic moment. It was the first time in 120 years that a reigning monarch met the great grandchild that would eventually be king – and it was a meeting that didn’t leave a dry eye in the house. Kate Middleton and Prince William took photos of Elizabeth with their new son that will likely never see the light of day for the general public and the Queen absolutely adores the littlest heir already.
According to the Aug. 12th print edition of GLOBE Queen Elizabeth was filled with hope after meeting George. She has assured Prince William that she believes he should wear the crown next and meeting his little boy made her feel like the country that she loves is in the best hands imaginable for generations to come. Elizabeth worries about leaving things to Prince Charles and cruel Camilla Parker-Bowles as she feared that the unpopular couple would make a mess of things. She also happens to despise Camilla and dreads the thought that the ambitious adulteress could one day be Queen. This is what first prompted Elizabeth to look into allowing William to bypass his father to ascend the throne.
The Queen also appreciates the way Kate and William are honoring royal obligations while being determined to live a normal life. She believes that this approach has really worked for them and it also helps them to understand the real needs of the people. That knowledge will ultimately help William to be a better ruler.
The Queen already believes that Prince George will be raised well and so she left for her two month vacation in Scotland with a renewed sense of peace and joy. She also made Kate promise to visit as soon as she has recovered and Georgie has been cleared to travel. It’s amazing how the birth of this tiny boy has given hope to the Queen and the commoners as well, isn’t it? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below!
