Reality TV Is Fake and Scripted! Consumer Fraud Exposed By “Reality Check” Documentary (VIDEO)

Are you ready for the real truth behind reality programming? Well, it seems that a group of people that have worked behind the scenes at a multitude of shows have decided to band together to let the truth be known. In many cases “reality” shows are indeed scripted and you and I choose simply to believe otherwise. I think our culture has really embraced the voyeuristic idea of watching people go about their supposed lives, as a camera just so happens to roll. MTV may have presented a unique opportunity for those very first Real Worlders 20 years ago, but you better believe that the genre has changed a ton since those early days.

Reality Check is a full length documentary comprised of a group of writers, directors and other industry insiders who have worked extensively in the reality television genre. These are the people that have written scripts for the supposedly unscripted shows and they have edited interviews for the intent and purpose of turning admittedly nice people into on-camera villains. They’ve watched wannabe actors and actresses sign away their lives for a few months to end up crushed and abused by the same industry that promised to make them stars.

A public campaign to bring Reality Check to the masses, in order to unmask the truth about these shows that seem to have taken over prime time is ready to launch today. They are looking for funding and simple awareness to help bring all of the lies to light in the mainstream media.

If you’re a fan of reality shows then I’d strongly suggest that you take a look at the Reality Check website. They’ve posted a video that within a few short minutes already begins to debunk a lot of what you believed to be true regarding some of these shows. I’d love to see this project come to fruition because the reality of fake reality television looks a whole lot more scandalous then some of the crap that they try to feed us!
