The latest issue of Closer Weekly features Sandra Bullock and ‘her new chance at love’. The report touches upon how her son, Louis Bullock, has helped her heal from the betrayal of her ex-husband, Jesse James, and how she’s finally ready to trust again.
Sandra opens up about meeting the ‘man of her dreams’, which unfortunately isn’t George Clooney. However, Sandra’s notoriously private about her personal life and while she does give breadcrumbs to the press, she will never discuss something unless she has to. But good on her for finally moving on! It’s always a tough thing to get over infidelity, especially when the infidelity was broadcast for the whole world to find out. It definitely wouldn’t be easy to trust again, and that’s not when counting the fact that she’s a world-famous celebrity worth millions and has a young son to care for now.
Donny Osmond is also opening up about his advice to young stars like Justin Bieber. He tells Closer, “Just let it happen. You can’t change history. When you hit it so big at such a young age, time freezes in people’s minds. You just have to live with the consequences until enough time goes by — 20 or 30 years, in my case. You get to a time when you end up embracing it.” He claims the key to success in the long run is reinvention, which is especially true in music.
There’s also a feature on how Nigella Lawson is fighting to save her reputation in the wake of recent scandals, but I’d say that battle is long lost. And then finally, Prince William and Kate Middleton will be spending their first Christmas with Prince George, and they’ve got all the ‘normal’ activities planned for their first family holiday. Yay for little Georgie.
