At tribal council the first vote was for Laura, the second too. Then two for Ciera, two for Aras. Another two for Aras, the eighth person voted out was Aras. Tonight’s double-elimination episode of Survivor opens with the tribe returning to Kasama after Aras’s elimination. Vytas congratulates the tribe, he will miss his brother, but he thinks the elimination was strategic and well-played. Vytas always says vengeance will be his at some point. Tina doesn’t take the elimination as well as Vytas, she calls out the players that voted him off, and tells them they just lost juror votes.
Tina apologizes to her daughter Katie for aligning them with a losing team. She encourages Katie to build her own individual alliances with some of the other players, because she feels that she is bringing her down in the game.
Jeff arrives for the immunity challenge, a classic Survivor game of eating disgusting foods. The first round is a glass of forty LIVE worms. Monica, Vytas, Tyson, Hayden, Gervase, and Caleb are able to keep them down and move on to the next round, which means eating three ounces of pig intestines. Monica and Gervase move on to the final round. They have to eat two live grubs (coincidentally the same thing that cost Gervase the immunity challenge the last time he appeared on Survivor). Monica wins Immunity!
After the Immunity challenge, Tyson is contemplating telling his alliance members that he has the Idol. Monica is concerned that she was supposed to go home tonight. She thinks that everyone is scrambling trying to figure out their votes because now she has the Immunity Necklace and can’t go home. It looks like she is completely off base though, everyone seems to be planning on voting for Katie and Vytas. Vytas is campaigning hard, encouraging everyone to vote for Katie so they can break up the Katie/Tina team.
It’s time for Tribal Council. Jeff questions the members about Aras’s evictions, and his brother Vytas has a lot to say. He tells the other members of Kasama that he is his “brother’s keeper” and he will come after every single one of them now. He also adds insult to injury and calls Monica out, and calls her “paranoid,” and accuses her of breaking his trust.
The players have voted, and it is time for Jeff to tally the votes. Katie has two votes, Tyson has one vote, and Vytas is eliminated with five votes. Vytas is off to Redemption Island. The players head back to camp, minus Vytas.
Monica confesses that she voted for Vytas because he called her out before voting, even though her entire alliance told her to vote out Katie. Her flip-flop didn’t change the outcome of the votes, but Gervase isn’t impressed. Her mistake could have backfired and made him lose on of the members of his alliance.
Aras and Vytas are reunited on Redemption Island. Vytas feels he was sent there due to guilty by association. Aras doesn’t want to hear his negativity. The two brothers discuss having to compete against each other to see who will be returning to Kasama.
Jeff arrives at Kasama for another Immunity Challenge. The players must balance a sword with one hand, and stack coins on it with the other hand, if your coins fall you will be eliminated. The last person standing will win the Immunity Necklace. Monica is the first to be eliminated, followed by Cierra. Tina, Gervase, and Laura are eliminated. Caleb’s coins fall and he is eliminated. It is down to Hayden, Katie, and Tyson. Tyson and Hayden are both eliminated, Katie wins the Immunity Challenge. She won’t be going home tonight.
Now that Katie has the Immunity Necklace, Tina heads out to search for the Idol. Caleb, Hayden, and Tyson follow her into the woods and refuse to leave her side. They want to make sure Tina doesn’t find it. Little do they know, Tyson already has the Idol, he just wants to keep it a secret.
Gervase is busy campaigning to get Monica voted off the island. A lot of other players agree with him that she is a “wild card” and not trustworthy.
The players head to Tribal Council. Jeff stirs up some drama between Tina and Monica, Tina campaigns hard against Monica. She reminds the players that Monica talks too much and can’t be trusted. Jeff tallies the votes, and Tina is eliminated. Tina heads to Redemption Island to join Aras and Vytas.
