Swiyyah Muhammad’s Book “Don’t Call Me Crazy, I’m Just in Love” Catches Oprah’s Eye!

Swiyyah Muhammad’s book, entitled Don’t Call me Crazy, I’m Just in Love (2007), has caught the attention of Oprah’s book club. While a work of fiction, the book contemplates issues and events very personal to the author and her readers.

Swiyyah was diagnosed with paranoid Schizophrenia and has overcome sexual abuse in her life. She decided she wanted to write a novel, but never imagined itwould be where it is today. Swiyyah’s book Don’t Call me Crazy, I’m Just In Love is being looked at by Oprah and the O Channel. Her book is a work of fiction, however, she says its pages contain a very personal theme: a woman suffering from paranoid Schizophrenia and the ways in which it influences her day-to-day journeys and relationships.

Swiyyah’s book is so inspirational and emotional that it has caught the attention of not only her fans, but Oprah herself. Swiyyah says completing the piece was an enormous step in overcoming her past, and now she could have the opportunity to share it on the O channel. Best of luck and well wishes!
