Teen Wolf RECAP 6/24/13: Season 3 Episode 4 “Unleashed”

Tonight on MTV, the popular show TEEN WOLF continues with its forth episode of the third season called, “Unleashed.” On tonight’s show, Stiles tries to prove his theory about the killings. Did you watch last week’s episode? We did and we recapped it here for you.

On last week’s show, someone was supposed to die and a photo released of a hand dripping in blood with a purity ring was supposed to be a clue to who it is.  We wondered who was going to be killed?  We guessed it was Erica.  Also on last week’s show Scott and Derek sought out help from an unlikely ally.

On tonight’s show, Scott tries to keep Isaac from confronting the twins in school.  Stiles tries to prove his theory about the killings.  Stiles defends the werewolves. This week, a lot like last week, we were given a promo that alluded to someone being a killer.

Tonight’s season 3 episode 4 is going to be an exciting one that you won’t want to miss, so be sure to tune in for our live coverage of MTV’s Teen Wolf at 10 PM EST! While you wait for our recap hit the comments and let us know what you think of Teen Wolf season 3 this year. Check out the sneak peek video of tonight’s show below while you wait for the recap!

LIVE RECAP BEGINS NOW:

The show begins with a guy and his dog in the vet’s office. Scott dissects a stool sample and discovers something odd. Dr. Deaton says the foreign material is mistletoe — something poisonous to canines. The guy who brought his dog into the vet eventually leaves. Upon walking out to the parking lot, his dog runs away. The guy goes to find his dog. He hears someone say “closer, closer, cloooooser,” and something happens to him. Definitely dead. Or turned. Or something bad.

We see Ms. Blake walking through the halls. She’s paranoid. She runs into her classroom very quickly and shuts the door. She thinks she’s alone but then she sees Derek — who saved her last week. He asks if she’s okay.

Stiles and Scott are in the locker room. Stiles is freaking out about the guy who went missing at the vet’s office. He’s concerned about his own livelihood, as he’s also a virgin.

All the Lacrosse players must also do cross country. As they start their run, Isaac finally realizes that the twins are the alphas that attacked him. They find themselves in an open field and start to fight. Eventually, Scott jumps in and evens the playing field.

Soon, they stumble upon the dead body of the guy we first saw at the vet’s office. He’s suffered the three-fold death. Stile immediately whispers to Scott, “That’s him isn’t it?” He had a hunch that the guy was a victim just like the others.

Stile’s arrives on the scene. Stiles immediately tells his father, “Look, it’s just like the others.”

Isaac asks Stiles and Scott if they saw how the twins looked at the dead body. Isaac definitely thinks they did it.

Meanwhile, Derek is training his sister, who apparently didn’t die. Two alphas interrupt their training session. One of them is Kali and, soon, she stabs him in he chest with a pipe. Deucalion enters and wants to chat.

Allison falls asleep in Ms. Morell’s french class. When she’s woken up, the class ends, and Allison wants to know why Morell was in the bank. Ms. Morell says, “I could ask you the same question.”

Isaac and Scott are in class. Isaac asks to leave to use the bathroom. The twins are in the hallways. One of the twins (I can’t tell them apart so I will have to refer to them as “twins” from now on LOL) starts to beat the other twin up. Isaac just stands there, watching. They set him up. The physics teacher walks out and, of course, it looks like Isaac is the bad guy.

Deucalion and his alphas continue to torture Derek.

Isaac received lunchtime detention. One of the twins hits on Lydia.

Stile’s father questions the girlfriend of the guy who was killed earlier. Stiles asks the girlfriend if the guy was a virgin. She slaps him and says no.

Deucalion wants Derek to kill one of his pack members . . . . probably Scott. And then he promises to leave him alone.

During lunch detention, Isaac and Allison are paired up to restock the janitor’s closet. He asks if he can be paired with someone else. While they are in the closet, the door is shut and they are locked in. Isaac begins freaking out and turns on Allison. Scott, of course, jumps in to save the day. Scott thinks it was the twins. He thinks they want to do more than just get Isaac in trouble; they want to get someone hurt. Now Scott has had enough and he’s ready to do something about it.

Scott, Allison and Isaac set up one of the twins. They ride his motorcycle in and set him up.

Stiles visits Dr. Deacon because he knows that he always has more information.

Meanwhile, Derek is still being tortured. Deucalion tells him how he’s become so powerful: he’s stolen powers from other alphas upon killing them. He says he’s the alpha of all alphas. He says he’s the “demon wolf.”

Lydia is drawing in her notebook. She’s in a music class — but I don’t think she understands how she got there exactly, as usual. She’s either super crazy or super magical, haven’t figured out which one yet. She stumbles across an iPhone recording. She begins listening to it — she has a crazy face.

Stiles and Deaton talk about the druids, which Dr. Deaton appears to be. Dr. Deaton says that someone is copying age old traditions.

Lydia calls Stiles; Dr. Deaton and Stiles arrive to aid Lydia, who hands over the recording. The music teacher was taken. Dr. Deaton says that the murders/sacrifices will happen in threes — each grouping possessing a purpose and power. This batch of murders appears to be focusing on “warriors.” Or army people. Lydia remembers someone else who has a military connection: the physics teacher.

Isaac and Scott are walking through the hallways. They run into each other. The two twins do their combination thing. The werewolf catches them both. Deucalion comes in and stops them, without an explanation. They leave.

Dr. Deaton, Lydia, and Styles are looking for the physics teacher. He’s gone. Dr. Deaton says, “Remember when I told you that the word for Druid means ‘White Oak?’ Well there’s a word in Gaelic used to describe a druid who’s gone down the dark path.” Dr. Deaton notices that there are letters on the tests that spell the word that means “Dark Oak.”

Meanwhile, Derek kicks Isaac out of his home. Isaac shows up at Scott’s house — he asks for a favor. We don’t learn what, but I assume he wants a place to stay.

The closing scene shows the physics teacher’s death.
