It seems as if Terry Richardson and Audrey Gelman have officially called it quits. Terry Richardson is a rather prominent fashion photographer, who just so happens to be one of the brains behind Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball” clip, and Audrey Gelman is a young dynamo in local New York politics where she works with Scott Stringer.
So what was the reason behind this edgy, hipster couple’s break up? The reason is a bit unclear, and perhaps it was simply time for them to part ways. Page Six exclusively reports, “They broke up a few months ago and are now living apart.” According to the news source, Gelman, who has appeared in HBO’s popular drama/comedy Girls, has been spotted out and about with her friends — but no sign of Richardson.
The source attempted to contact Richardson and Gelman’s representatives for comments, but neither were eager to release statements. Gelman is actually very close friends with Lena Dunham in real life and, in most people’s eyes, seems to be the model for Marnie’s character on Girls.
What do you think about this break up? We love Girls and were surprised to hear that she’d appeared on the show, as we don’t fully remember her role. Girls will be returning to HBO next year and we can’t wait to see what craziness Lena Dunham has in store for us.
